Dr. Rachel Engelbarts is a native of Sunrise Beach, Missouri. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri State University and obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry.
Dr. Rachel is trained in all aspects of primary care optometry and especially enjoys seeing pediatric patients, diagnosing and managing ocular disease such as glaucoma and cataracts, and fitting contact lenses. She has been in practice since 2014 and sees patients at the Camdenton, Lake Ozark, and Laurie offices.
She and her husband, Dr. Brad Engelbarts spent the first four years after Optometry school stationed in beautiful Beaufort, SC where Dr. Brad served active duty in the U.S. Navy and Dr. Rachel practiced in a multidisciplinary group practice.
Dr. Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, twin toddlers, Lyndle and Bear, their youngest Eloise, traveling, and spending time outside, especially on the lake.
